Open Journal Systems (OJS) is a journal management and publishing system that has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project to expand and improve access.OJS assists with every stage of the refereed publishing process, from submissions to online publication and indexing. OJS for Annali ISS has been set up with the collaboration of CINECA.

Annali is in Web of Science.

Thomson Reuters has completed the evaluation process of Annali for coverage in Web of Science, in 2010.

Annali has been accepted and is indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded.

Annali is included in the Journal Citation Report. The Impact Factor was calculated for 2010. A considerable growth was registered in 2011.

Web of Science enables users to search over 10,000 journals from over 45 different languages across the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities and to link between relevant records using the cited references and exploit the subject connections between articles. Journals indexed in Web of Science have an Impact Factor.

The Digital Object Identifier is an international standard for identifying content objects in the digital environment: a digital identifier for any object of intellectual property. The DOI System provides a framework for persistent identification, managing intellectual content, metadata and linking customers with content suppliers. DOI is managed by the International DOI Foundation (http://www.doi.org/) . The European Agency for DOI is mEDRA (http://www.medra.org/it/index.htm). CrossRef has recently been provided for Annali.
