Antibiotics in Italy and Europe

According to the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), Italy presents high consumption of antibiotics, with strong regional differences between North and South. It has been estimated that, if every Italian region acted in line with the six regions with the lowest consumption, it would be possible to save approximately 316,6 million euro.
