37th Annual Meeting of the European Group for blood and Marrow Transplantation

From the Welcome Address on the EBMT website:

"On behalf of the EBMT, The "Société Française de Greffe et thérapie cellulaire SFGM-TC" and the Local Organizing Committee at hospital Saint-Antoine and Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) Paris, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 37th Annual Meeting of the EBMT, the 27th Meeting of the EBMT Nurses Group, the 10th Meeting of the EBMT Data Management Group, the 3rd EBMT Quality Management Meeting and the 5th EBMT Patient & Family Day.
The will include the usual symposia, educational sessions and workshops covering key issues related to the specific problems of stem cell transplantation, such as the changing indications of transplantation prompted by the ongoing development of new targeted therapies, or the management of acute and chronic graft versus host disease which unfortunately remain a major challenge.We will also pay particular attention to new developments in cell therapy such as embryonic stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells, which may in the near future provide additional graft sources.We will introduce a special symposium on the role of autologous stem cell transplantation for the treatment of Acute Myelocytic Leukemia and we will of course preserve the "Controversies in SCT" as an exciting format for presentation of issues of debate."

Eurocet during these years started a collaboration with the major Scientific Associations included the European Group for Blood & Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and will be present at EBMT Annual Congress in order to be continuously updated under a scientific point of view, to disseminate data among professionals and to compare and complete annual report.
