Hellodoc is the acronym for "HEaLthcare Service Linking Tele-rehabilitatiOn to Disable peOple and Clinicians" and is financed by eTEN, which is a European Community Programme.
The main objective of this project is to set up a home based rehabilitation service allowing patients to extend training for the upper limbs at home under remote assessment and validation from the hospital.
The neurological diseases which concern the project are: multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and stroke.
Work-Package number 4 of the project, - entitled "EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT" - deals with the implementation of e-learning Teaching Modules to prepare and educate professionals to effectively deliver a tele-rehabilitation service to the citizens.

The project team is composed by technical and clinical partners, from Belgium, Spain, The Netherlands and Italy. Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) has the role of administrative coordinator, Signomotus (SITUS) has the role of scientific coordinator.
The service is established at hospital sites and is made by two main apparatuses: an in-hospital based server and portable units to be installed at patients home as necessary.
