The National Centre for Rare Diseases participates in the study of surveillance of quality assurance practices in molecular genetic testing of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The OECD has conducted a study of surveillance of practices to ensure quality in more than 800 laboratories that perform molecular genetic testing in 18 countries of the OECD.
