World Hearing Day is celebrated again this year on March 3, to raise awareness world governments to the importance of hearing and to prevent ear diseases that affect about 1 in 10 people. The World Health Organization (WHO) on the occasion of this VI edition of the day, launched the slogan "Hearing care for all!"
Italy also joined the 2021 Day by promoting various and important initiatives such as “Nonno Ascoltami! - Udito Italia Onlus” in order to raise awareness of the population's attention to the worrying increase in hearing disorders and to promote a real cultural revolution, as recommended by the WHO itself.
Debates, live consultations with specialists, sector associations, health professionals have therefore offered citizens with these disabilities the opportunity to clarify doubts about the health of their hearing, contributing to the improvement of the quality of their lives.
