Il rapporto – rivolto a operatori sanitari, stakeholder, cittadini – descrive e analizza l’esperienza di formazione attiva realizzata dall’Istituto Superiore di Sanità nel corso dell’epidemia COVID-19 al fine di diffondere l’esperienza vissuta e coglierne i relativi insegnamenti in un’ottica di preparedness utile in caso di analoghi eventi futuri. L’obiettivo è fornire, attraverso schede di consultazione, strumenti potenzialmente utili per coloro i quali potrebbero trovarsi a fronteggiare simili esigenze formative, ma anche mostrare le evidenze raccolte, attraverso la metodologia del case report. In un tale scenario pandemico il sistema della formazione necessita, infatti, di essere consolidato e presidiato, rappresentando un elemento strategico, un fattore determinante, la cui preparazione e gestione non può essere successiva all’insorgere dell’evento emergenziale, ma va pianificata e resa possibile a priori.

The report is aimed at citizens, health personnel and stakeholders. It describes and analyzes the experience of active training carried out by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità during the COVID-19 epidemic. It shares ISS’s experience and lessons learned in a preparedness perspective in case of similar future events. The aim is to provide, through consultation forms, useful tools for those who may face similar training needs, but also to present the evidence gathered, through the case report methodology. In the context of a pandemic case scenario, the emergency training system needs to be consolidated and manned. Training represents a strategic element, a determining factor, the preparation and management of which cannot be subsequent to the arise of the emergency, but must be planned and made possible a priori.
