EBBMRI, ECRIN and EATRIS join forces to offer COVID-19 fast response service

We are currently experiencing an unprecedented public health crisis and a coordinated effort of all available knowledge and resources is needed to fight the pandemic.

The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) believes that the opportunities provided by European RIs to support the science-led response to the COVID-19 outbreak are extremely important.

Under the umbrella of the Alliance of Medical Research Infrastructures (AMRI), EATRIS, ECRIN and BBMRI are working together to coordinate and ease researcher’s access to the academic facilities, services and resources of the three medical research infrastructures. The whole catalog of AMRI resources is available to the research community fighting against COVID-19 at the following link:

ESFRI is helping the scientific community by gathering information about dedicated services offered by RIs and disseminating all relevant actions as broadly as possible. To this end, ESFRI has created a focused webpage that lists and provides quick links to the information gathered (

COVID-19 Data Portal

The COVID-19 Data Portal was launched in April 2020 to bring together relevant datasets for sharing and analysis to accelerate coronavirus research. It enables researchers to upload, access and analyze COVID-19 related data and specialist datasets as part of the wider European COVID-19 Data Platform.
