Ahead of a 2-day conference titled “Making prisons and places of detention resilient to infectious diseases” kicking off in London on 20–21 June, we spoke with 2 London-based leaders working at the health and justice interface – Sinéad Dervin, Deputy Director for NHS London’s Health and Justice Services, and Ian Bickers, Prison Group Director for London Prisons, His Majesty’s (HM) Prison and Probation Service.
