Accidents and trauma - ISS (EN)

The Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) is  involved in  trauma and poisoning, conducts research into accidents, intoxications and violence, through the description and analysis of the types of trauma, burns or poisoning, as well as the identification and quantification of their social and environmental determinants. 

These activities are carried out for the purpose of defining and verifying specific preventive actions, in particular for the development of forecasting and evaluation models, both statistical and mathematical, and simulation.
