WHO EPI-WIN webinar: Global mpox strategy for elimination and control: open consultation - ISS-G20 Laboratorium Repository

In May 2022 the multi-country mpox outbreak emerged and spread around the world prompting the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on 23 July 2022. As of 13 June 2023, there have been 87 979 cases of mpox and 147 deaths reported to WHO from 112 countries.
