Innovative technologies for health and telemedicine

Advanced instrumentation

The Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) has centralized the management of the largest, most complex and expensive instruments, entrusting them to the specialized staff of the Core facilities.

The instrumentation is divided into functional areas: scientific calculation, next generation sequencing, cytometry, electronic paramagnetic resonance, imaging of small animals and magnetic resonance spectrometry, confocal and electronic microscopy, proteomics and cell production for human medicinal use.

The National center for innovative technologies in public health (TISP) offers irradiation services, thematic laboratories and prototype electro-mechanical realizations.

The ISS thus offers high quality services to public and private entities for research, control or production purposes.
