The COVID-19 pandemic has incited an unprecedented infodemic and has highlighted impact of misinformation, disinformation, and information disseminated with mal-intent on the effectiveness of public health action, and ultimately national public health security. Join the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for a two-day public workshop on April 10th and 11th to examine the public health infodemics, the COVID-19 infodemic, the impact of infodemics on trust in the public health enterprise and broader national health security, and tools and practices used to address infodemics.
