Younger adults

The Scottish Government’s Dropbox folder (external website) contains targeted materials for younger adults including Explainer videos designed for social media and messages for students.

Minority ethnic communities

Social media images are available in other languages to support COVID-19 vaccine confidence in minority ethnic communities in Scotland. View the social media images in other languages.

BEMIS is a national Ethnic Minorities led umbrella body. They host the Ethnic Minority Resilience Network (external website) and have a range of COVID-19 vaccine translated information (external website).

Scottish Refugee Council Statement of Facts

The Scottish Refugee Council has released a Statement of Facts, which was prepared by Public Health Scotland, about the COVID-19 vaccine in Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, French, Kurdish, Tigrinya and Vietnamese.

Videos are available in Albanian, Arabic, Cantonese, Farsi, Mandarin, Urdu and Yoruba.

Muslim communities

The British Islamic Medical Association recommends the Pfizer/BioNTech, Oxford/AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines for Muslim communities.

Gypsy, Roma, Traveller and Showmen communities

The Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, Showmen and the Inclusion Health team at First Community Health and Care, in partnership with Surrey Heartlands Clinical Commissioning Group, have produced a short film to encourage vaccine uptake in this community.
