Psychiatric disorders

The Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) addresses psychiatric disorders with a multidisciplinary and evidence-based approach.

Disorders targeted are: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression (including perinatal and adolescent), obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety syndromes, and stress-related behavioral disorders. Burn-out, psycho-oncology, psycho-neuroendocrinology and mental health changes associated with aging are also studied.
