Back August 2023 - WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit

The WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit will take place in Gandhinagar (India) from August 17-18, 2023, and will be co-hosted by WHO and Government of India, which holds the presidency of G20 2023. 
This Summit will be organized by the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine collaborating with all WHO major offices. 
The Summit will serve as a forum for all stakeholders to exchange best practices and ground-breaking information about how traditional medicine contributes to sustainable development and health including practitioners, users, communities, policymakers, international organizations, academics, private sector, and civil society organizations.
The Global Summit will highlight success stories in countries using traditional medicine across universal health coverage, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Health for All. 
It will showcase game-changing advances in evidence, data, biodiversity, and innovations that enable the safe, effective, and equitable use of traditional medicine.
