Back December 2022 - World AIDS Day

On 1 December the world commemorates World AIDS Day.
Founded in 1988 and celebrated annually, this event is an international day of solidarity for people around the world who are affected by HIV and to prevent HIV, support people with HIV and remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.
Each World AIDS Day focuses on a specific theme, which this year will be Putting Ourselves to the Test: Achieving Equity to End HIV to encourage people to unite globally to eliminate the disparities and inequities, improving the prevention, and access to HIV care.
This day is an important opportunity for every community and each individual to honor the more than 32 million people who have died worldwide from AIDS-related illness.
The Equalize slogan is a call to action.
