The Anti-Doping Helpline (TVAD) 800-896970 of the Smoke, Alcohol and Drug Observatory (OssFAD) is a national, anonymous and free counseling service on doping-related issues, to which a team of expert pharmacologists and psychologists responds in the field.
The line is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 and is aimed at an audience mainly made up of sportsmen, sector operators and social health professionals. The goal is to provide scientific information on the effects caused by the use of banned substances for doping, on the use and / or abuse of pharmacologically active substances not banned for doping and on the use of food supplements. In addition, the toll-free number offers information on doping legislation, deals with sending scientific information material to those who request it, supports networks of professionals in the sector, representing a listening and monitoring point of the problem.
