Back October 2023 - World Mental Health Day - Our minds, our right

Since 1992 the World Mental Health Day celebrated on the 10th of October every year.
Officially organized by the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The theme for 2023 is Mental health is a universal human right improves knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect everyone’s mental health as a universal human right. Events and important activities are organized in Italy and in Europe during the month of October to promote the mental health and well-being for our personnel.

To mark World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2023, the European Commission is holding a half-day, high-level conference in Brussels. 

Also this year’s event will bring together various stakeholders (policymakers, service providers, and non-governmental organizations) active in the field of mental health. Various key actors will discuss good practices, challenges and how to ensure adequate mental health support.

The global community unites on this day to raise awareness and reduce the stigma that surrounds people with mental health problems.
