National Reference Laboratory for pesticide residues in food products of animal origin and foods with a high fat content (LNR-AO)
On 07/03/2007, the Ministry of Health designated the Pesticide Department of the then Department of Environment and related primary prevention as the National Reference Laboratory for pesticide residues in food products of animal origin and foods with a high fat content (LNR-AO).
The designation was made on the basis of art. 33 of Regulation (EC) 882/2004, currently repealed by the European Union Regulation 625/2017. The tasks of the LNR are defined by Article 101 of Regulation 625/2017.
The LNR-AO is accredited according to the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018 standard.
