One of the task of the EURLP is to organize an annual workshop involving the NRLs of the EU and of associated countries. The workshop is held at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (Rome, Italy) since 2006. During the workshop, each NRL is invited to present its annual activity and to suggest topics related to foodborne parasitic diseases for plenary discussion. The results of the last proficiency testing and the planning of future PTs are also discussed with the NRLs.
