This work wants evaluate the in vitro fatigue mechanical performances of dental implants and the in vivo osteointegration process of dental implants, who have been installed in rabbit's femur, in association to growth factors. Initially, the fatigue mechanical performances of five groups of dental implants were compared. After, a SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) observation was executed, to identify possible alterations of the superficial structure. In the second part of the experimentation, last generation dental implants (SLA, Sandblasted Largegrid and Acid-etched) were installed in rabbit's bone in association to growth factors. After twelve days, the osteointegration of SLA implants was evaluated executing mechanical tests to traction, SEM observations and histologic analysis. The results show that the use of growth factors increases the bony regeneration, preventing the mobilization by dental implant, turned out to the base of a long term success by therapy.
