In Italy, the National CLP Helpdesk was established at the National Center for Chemicals, Cosmetics and Consumer Protection (CNSC) of the Istituto Superiore di Snaità (ISS, the National Institute of Health in Italy), in compliance with article 44 of Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP).
This article outlines the establishment in each Member State (MS) of a national technical assistance service (Helpdesk) with the aim of providing information on the responsibilities and the respective obligations of the regulation to manufacturers, importers, distributors, downstream users and any other interested party
