Back Exploring Behavioral Addictions in Generation Z: A Survey of School-Aged Population to Inform the Development of Prevention Policies at the National Conference
On March 28th, 2023, the Pocchiari Hall of the ISS will host The National Conference on Behavioral Addictions in Z Generation, which stems from the eponymous project. This latter, funded by the Department of Anti-Drug Policies of the Presidency of the Council and assigned to the National Center for Addiction and Doping of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, includes prevalence studies of behavioral addictions in the school population (ages 11-17), as well as an examination of the correlation between these addictions and parental perceptions and skills, particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The conference will feature presentations on survey data regarding new behavioral addictions, epidemiological information, and profiles of at-risk adolescents.
