My son has type 1 diabetes, can he participate in the D1Ce Screen study? 

Children with type 1 diabetes cannot participate in the D1Ce Screen study because the National Health Service already provides screening for celiac disease in all persons with type 1 diabetes. However, siblings and/or sisters of a child with type 1 diabetes may participate in the D1Ce Screen study.
