  • recruitment of children
  • acquisition of informed consent and privacy policy
  • administration of the anamnestic questionnaire to the child's parents

  • completion of the study feasibility questionnaire

Clinical centers highly specialized in T1 D and coeliac disease for:

  • involvement and support of primary care pediatricians (PLSs) willing to participate in the study
  • monitoring regional, total and age-stratified recruitment of children by pediatricians
  • scientific support to primary care pediatricians on the specific clinical issues related to T1D and coeliac disease in pediatric settings
  • management of autoantibody-positive cases or those requiring further diagnostic investigation
  • connection with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità
