This report discusses the analytical methods indicated in the National Control Plan on irradiated foods and is mainly intended for the laboratories involved in the official control. It features four chapters, an introduction on the state of the art of controls and a brief description of the Plan. Each chapter devoted to the analytical methods includes a first section describing the technique, and a second section explaining how to apply the method to the matrices contemplated in the Plan, with particular attention to data analysis and sample classification.
