Io YouTuber (I, YouTuber) for HIV prevention
2016-2017 Health-Promotion Campaign.

The aim of this campaign was to empower youths to lead STD-prevention initiatives, by involving them in the creation of messages to be disseminated through their own communication channels. For this purpose, students were presented with 4 open-ended questions. They were asked to involve their peers in making YouTuber-style videos where they answered one or more questions. The videos were posted on the United Against AIDS YouTube channel. The initiative was presented to 1000 students in 8 schools in Rome.

The videos made by the students can be accessed at http://www.uniticontrolaids.it/attualita/iniziative.argomento.aspx?arg=TLA- 483A956CC6DE485B#.XIKX8yJKi71

The initiative took place in 2017, but it is still available online and can be replicated. ISS researchers are available to present it in schools.

Uniti contro l’AIDS Challenge
I protect sexual intercourse and put my face on it!

The initiative involved the participating girls and boys producing: videos, photos, musical.ly / TikT

ok using the message "I protect sexual relations and put my face on it! I challenge you to do the same" and the hashtag #UniticontrolaidsChallenge. The initiative provided, among other things, that the guys recovered in a video with a condom (still rolled up, unrolled, full of air, etc. absolutely avoiding brand recognition) and that they published these digital products on their own social networks: WhatsApp, Instagram, Musical.ly / TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube tagging their friends for the challenge. The goal was to viralize the campaign even outside the project and involve as many people as possible. The products created were also published on the United Against AIDS website and promoted through the social networks connected to it. Initiative carried out with the students of 8 Roman schools in the school year 2017-2018, and still available online, is replicable, with the availability of ISS researchers to present it in schools.
