In July 2021 ISS started the Project “Enhancing One Health-based strategies to prevent pandemics by assessing potential risks at the human-animal-environment interface: implementation of a One Health-based Conceptual Framework” to support the early identification of potential risks for pandemics at the human-animal-environment interface. The two-year project involves the collaboration of researchers from various ISS departments and centers, in order to improve preparedness capacity for global health threats with a One Health approach.
