Since 2016, the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS, the National Institute of Health in Italy) has been participating in the European Researchers' Night, promoted by the European Commission, an event that takes place at the end of September simultaneously in numerous Italian and European Union cities as part of the "Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions".
The initiative has created opportunities for researchers and citizens to meet and spread scientific culture and knowledge of the research professions in an informal and stimulating context.
